The Syllabus, 2016
The lecture-performance "The Syllabus," 2016, consists of seven illustrated, open questions to artists who seek to make political art beyond the long shadow of 1968. To watch the piece, please visit:

Questions include: “Can growing up revitalized engaged art by recasting radical art as responsible art?" and “Can we, as adults, tap into the raw emotions of our inner fifteen-year-old—say, of first heartbreak—and harness them towards socially-transformative art via the 'social' part of social media?” Elaborations on these and other questions were developed for Asia Contemporary Art Week: Thinking Practice at the Asia Society, New York, and subsequently re-presented at the Forward Union Fair, and turned into a stand-alone video loop for the Charlotte Street Foundation's exhibition "Sensible Disobedience: disrupting cultural signifiers in a neo-liberal age" (2017).
